1 LED burnt out initially... Perhaps due to short circuit cause of water leakage...

Re-siliconed them and short the LED to make another LED light up...

Now 2 LED both burnt...

Anyway, the price dropped to RM6.50 each... No point dy...

Ok, now you'll ask me what had you modded?

It's so obvious, can't you notice?

It is normally installed in more expensive cars last time...

Here's the pic before adding in... Now you realized right?

Used to be installed in higher spec vehicle, however, nowadays car manufacturer's tried to hide their exhaust more than adding some exhaust tip to it... Why? Cut cost lo...

In Brother's it easily cost RM38 for a normal one... Provided that if this exhaust tip is stock, this is an expensive item...

The Story

Here's the boring part...

So it was CNY and was going some relative's house...

Suddenly at the roadside there's this:

Hey, you think pick from the roadside got so clean ah?

Of course this is cleaned off dy...

Gave it a good spray of WD-40 to remove all the carbon deposits at the outer of the exhaust tip...

Suspect it dropped out due to loose and rusty screws... Not to mention our exhaust does vibrates a lot... So if it become loose not a big deal...

Replaced the 2 rusty screws... Another one can't even release... Sooo tight...

When I try to unscrew it the welding gave way and broke...

Ok, let's go to the point...

So the insulflex piece had been in my boot for like 1 month?

So I insulflexed passenger side door panel... This time faster and neater work...

Improvement? More solid door closing...

But still "klong" sound when closing door still loud la...

Planning to do underseal on door metal maybe later... That'll be a very good soundproofing + strengthtening the structure of door. Heard need to remove anti-karat paste from door... That's why not very dare to do it yet...

Now the car always can't start... This car very moody liao...

On one fine night, I decided to speed towards KL... (Ya right)

Basically was maintaning speed about 100km/h and rev about 3000rpm to get to destination... Since i'm quite familiar with the roads at Sprint Highway, I just Sprint-ed.

Overtaken lots of cars since its like 11pm dy... It's either those car are fast and furious or turtle slow... Took hard corners like nothing...

Comparison towards waja? LOTS of difference:

1. Corners by this car feels like flipping away.

2. High-speed (Not really high) by this car feels like floating.

3. A lot of stones kena milo tin sound.

4. Wind noise is immense like waja travelling at 140-150km/h?

But keeping my throttle about 20cm/Hg punye pressure at high speed does let me realized some useful mods I had done on my car:

1. Insulflex-ed driver side door panel... Road noise is less on my door... I can feel that the other 3 doors are giving me more noise entering the cabin...

2. Insulflex-ed engine bay hood... Engine roar noise is much less and noticable...

I then reached my destination...

And while sitting at hotel lobby... I decided to pull out my notebook...

Start thinking how to wire my turbo timer...

But not important...

So here's the stuff that I bought...

Tyre label pressure... Normally comes with car but mine somehow kena torn off dy like this...

Haiz... Label also can peel off one? Dunno how my previous owner handle it...

Btw, dun look down on this cheap mod...

For the first time in the history, I see QUALITY and ULTRA AFFORDABLE parts FOREIGNED MADE for PROTON...

What? This Proton label need to be Made in France? I really dun see the logic of it... And its only RM1.70!

Used WD-40 + Wax to remove it... Finally use fingers and cloth... After using nine cows two tigers punye power... This is the most I can remove...

Not bad, two separate papers that holds the sticker sticky side. Make application on surface more convenient... Can peel and stick one side first then gradually pull another side... Great job on man ufacturing this part... I still can't believe this sticker is made in France...

So I just stick it lo...

Cold air intake...

I called up unker wiki for explanation:

A cold air intake is an aftermarket assembly of parts used to bring relatively cool air into a car's internal-combustion engine.

Aftermarket cold air intake systems are marketed with claims of increased engine efficiency and performance. The putative principle behind a cold air intake is that cooler air has a higher density, thus containing more oxygen per volume unit than warmer air.

Ok... enough...

For my case, the design of the hose is by Proton itself. It's an ancient design by those Japanese designers for our sagas in 1990's. However, due to cutting cost issue (I think) the CAI hose is removed for good for my iswara version.

Originally the air intake box is until the radiator there only, which means more hot air from the engine bay will be drawn to the intake manifold to combust. Hot air generally has less oxygen, while cold air has more oxygen... The more oxygen that the carburator can breath, the better the engine response is... Just like placing one human in a room with less oxygen and another human in a room with more oxygen...

Sometimes, people may felt that their car sometimes have poor response in the afternoon and better performance at night. This is a proof of air intakes does matter in terms of engine performance...

Therefore I installed the CAI which draws air from fenders like 1990's saga. The hose cost me RM60... Expensive loh! But it's rare already... Even proton parts centre in glenmarie ran out of this hose since mid 2007... The hose fits perfectly on a square-shaped hole on the side of the engine bay. (The chassis is the same as saga aerobacks in 1990's)

Originally the hose stops at the metal clip i'm having there...

The air intake pipe is from the round dish towards the front metal and radiator...

This hose for RM60 and another RM4 for the clip... Waliao-eh...

Notice that the air con hose is blocking the CAI hose... I just added 2 pieces of insulflex so that the 2 hoses don't rub against each other... Later CAI hose bocor, then air con hose sama bocor lagi expensive...

Hydrolock - The intake opening is closer to the street than an original-equipment air intake, and more likely to introduce water into the engine when fording streams or flooded roads.

Noise - Stock air filtration systems usually include resonator-based muffling tubes. Removing them reduces pumping losses but increases noise.

Can void the vehicle warranty.

Why I opted for such an expensive RM60 old stock plastic hose?
- Old design by proton... Japanese engineer's original design...

- The hose seemed to be removed for this version of iswara cause its selling price is RM 24k/ RM27k... Maybe removing the hose is part of the cut cost programme?
- No risk of having hydrolock as explained above... It's inside fender area and is more protected from water unlike those CAI that is directly in front of bumper. The position is quite high, same level as engine cover! So if go through water most probably your engine will gone first before you choke your engine with water from air intake...
- Dust resistant... No need to change my air filter every service although the filter is below RM10... Fender area has generally less dust compared to normal front CAI facing the roads... You know la, our road ada stone, sand, simen, dust, grass, whatever... Super dirty... Don't even mention plastic bags or socks cover your whole CAI hole... That time you'll really wonder why your car choke like nobody's business...
- Not to worry about warranty, the proton service centre even tighten my CAI correctly for me... I think he must be very curious when he saw this CAI on my ride...

- No fuss installation... Fits perfectly to my engine bay squarish hole!

Performance improvement?

- I didn't really drive in the afternoon in the first place... So by adding this there's no significant improvement that I felt yet...

- Maybe need to rumble only know eh?

Okla, enough of expensive RM60 mod... Next post will be cheap mod... VERY cheap mod.... Less than RM10, RM5?

It's a long wait although I called up for appointment dy.

Sent car at 955am and got car at 1230pm.

Basically just change Petronas semi-synthethic engine oil, oil filter, oil plug gasket or something...

Then ask them to check air-con tensioner bearing...

Air con tension bearing they just lubricate and say no problem...

It was raining when I receive the car... Total bill up to RM177... Waliao-eh expensive.

I drove and before exit highway... "eeh-eeh-eeeh" is heard when I rev more than 2ooorpm...

Apala air-con beaing no problem... So until today still "eeh-eeh-eeh" inside the car...

So enough of scientific terms? Actually to summarize in 2 paragraphs...

Insulflex is a flexible and light weight elastomeric nitrile rubber material designed for thermal insulation. Insulflex insulation is generally black in colour, other colours are availble upon request. The product comes in tubing, roll and sheet form.The extruded flexible tubings are specially designed to fit the standard diameters of copper, steel and PVC pipings. Sheets are available in standards precut sizes or in rolls.

Use in:

Insulflex insulation is an expanded closed cell structure provides the ideal and most efficient vapour barrier for the prevention of condensation or frost formation on cooling systems, chilled water and refrigerant lines.
Insulflex insulation also prevent retards heat loss for hot water plumbing and heating, dual temperature piping and solar systems. It protects pipes by acting as a vibration damper and giving protection against corrosion by atmospheric and industrail environment.
Insulflex insulation with its inherent flexibility makes it ideally suited for the insulation of large surface area such as tanks, irregular shaped vessels, air-ducts and large diameter pipes.

Ok la, enough of those... Basically this thing is the black foam that wrap around your air con hose... Go and have a look!

Why insulflex for my ride? Reduce noise la, reduce heat, block UV as stated in the technical specs above? Besides, it's not easily combustible, non toxic, non-odour, water-oil-grease resistant, non-toxic, fungal-free and bla bla bla... I didn't opt for dynamat or whatsoever because it's overly expensive... RM200 per door... (Pocket on fire) Insulflex? RM13.80 enough for my bonnet and one door... Although won't be as effective as Dynamat, it's pretty affordable and effective for its price...

To fix 1/4 inches thick insulflex into my engine hood...

1. I used old newspaper and a pencil to trace the hood linings... Pretty easy job, just mask tape the news paper in place and start tracing along the sides of the bonnet metal...

2. I add 1.5cm to the sides of the traced line, forming a new line with a bigger area...

3. Cut out the shape of the traced paper along the new line...

4. Place it on top of the insulflex. Using a pen-knife, start cutting the insulflex according to the newspaper shape... With a sharp pen-knife, it should be very easy to cut out... Just extend your pen knife blade longer so that the cuttings do reach the bottom of insulflex...

5. Invert the news paper and repeat step 4... 1 newspaper cuttings is for 2... Your hood should be isometrical right? Meaning the left triangle should be same shaped with the right triangle, just that the shape is inverted...

6. The bottom 2 triangle has some metal poking out and the windscreen washer is there... So cut holes for them...

6. Apply Dunlop Contact Adhesive on the smooth sides of insulflex. Reason? Secondary science textbooks thought you so... Smooth surface will ensure good contact with glue and the hood surface... Means can use minimal glue to get a good contact. While the rough surface which is facing towards the engine bay will help absorb the sound even better...

7. Wait for 1 minute for the glue to dry a bit then paste it to the hood...

8. Press, press and press all around the insulflex to get a good contact between the insulflex-glue-hood... You won't want the insulflex to drop on your engine while your engine is operating... The damage will be... Sendiri tau la...

9. Wait for it to dry... I left it for half an hour after all is pasted on...

10. After half an hour I go fetch people so the engine heat assisted in drying the glue as well... After I came back, I opened the hood again and pressed all the insulflex again to ensure all in contact with the hood and *touchwood* nothing happened to the insulflex...

Cut according to the newspaper shape...

Since I have some more extra's like bits and pieces of insulflex, I used them to stick around the car...

Why stick on these places?

This places will always kena the rubber part of the door... For long run, the rubber might leave black marks or even scratches the car paint... I used WD-40 to clean the places with the rubber marks. Then I used some insulflex with double sided tape and gao-tim those "rubber-hitting" parts. If you did notice, I also stick some on my hood... The area gets blacken very fast if left unattended...

The leftovers I pasted it on driver's side door panel...

Effects:
1. Engine noise has reduced significantly in passengers cabin. Highly noticeable during hard revving...
2. My door opening and closing sounds more solid now compared to other doors. Slight improvement only... I may need bitumen strips to paste on metal parts of doors to get a better effect...

Overall, the results is significant enough to be noticed.

Since some viewers might opt for installing mudguards for their Iswalas, I better post a close up pic for the rear mudguard...

I'm not using any generic mudguards like Sparco, West nor Ralli Art, but STOCK Proton Iswara mudguards... I give you example of generic mudguard... (Universal mudguard)

Those whatever brand names makes me feeling like my car is "rojak"... No insult... Just my personal feeling... Cause I prefer minimal appearance...

(OK, the stock mudguards design are kinda better cause makes my car looks more "stocky"... The "Proton" word is embossed on the rear mudguard, like old sagas and iswaras, which I really like it...)

I gave the mudguards a touch of specialty... Aluminium brown colour on all my mudguards...

The old iswara type mudguard can perfectly fit into my iswara...

Just need to get the correct screw loh...

The holes for screwing... Once more screw hole is too deep inside the wheels... Can't get a pic of it... But you can see it in bright daylight... It's mounted on a bracket and came as stock with this version of iswaras, just that cut cost so didn't add mudguard...

For the rear mudguards, the holes are totally out. So I got no choice but to drill two holes on my bumper for mounting... Then I used zinc bracket and zip ties to hold the mudguard on the other side.

Btw the holes for the zip ties and zinc bracket are already there. No more drilling needed...

Heavy DRL mod...

Since the DRL only cost RM9.90 per pair...

I added a switch into both of them and they become a switchable light!

I used both of them as extra boot light.

No changes in front... Didn't even bother to silicon it unless your boot is soaking wet...

I think it's pretty useful in emergency cases...

Broad daylight of course not much difference... Only enough to raise people's attention by a little... Let's see how it performs in the night...

I even hold the DRL with only a pair of bolts and nuts... I hand screwed them without any tools...
So in case of emergency I can just unscrew the DRL by hand and perhaps raise some attention when on the roadside? Or I can even use it to brighten an area for tyre change...
Now finding tools and stuffs at boot is so much easier... Just flick the switch on and everything is in view...

Monza Sports Pedal mod...

Yea right, i'm not so much into sporty thingy la... Just want to protect my pedal actually... Cause our shoe's soles are indeed very rough to the pedal. Imagine every time you enter car with all those sands and maybe even stones or some corrosive substance on your soles then straight press pedal till reach another destination... Eventually your rubber pedal will give way... Since I not sure whether Proton Parts Centre got sell replacement or not, I just got myself a RM3.80 sports pedal first. (At least I know it'll be cheaper than replacement also)

Purposely chosen orange to suit my car colour... I know is Waliao-eh cheap... Haha...

So I prepared the rubber surfaces to be installed.

Wipe with wet cloth, then damped cloth.

Then applied my RM2 protectant on the pedal's rubber. Coat 3 layers and dry it...

Looks shining and wet now...

But I went out with car after that...

Then I repeated the steps above again... Maybe coated like 10 layers of protectant on the pedal...

(Now it's easier to clean as the pedals are water and dust -repellant dy)

Then I waited for it to dry and install the pedals...

This 3 pedals took me 3 hours to install it...

Shining under broad daylight...

Notice the left most bottom is a screw instead of normal hexagonal screw?

Because if use the normal hexagonal screw, the screw head will eventually wear off before I even managed to tighten it... So I opted for a provided phillips screw and screwed it tight.

I even removed some stucked hex-screws... Stucked because of their heads wore off when it's tighten too hard. Then I used drill to screw the head and then slowly unscrew it's body out... Left a lot of metal dust on my car floor mat...

The cheapest, the easiest, the most worth-the-work-and-time DIY mod. I expect these pads would last some time... Now even shoe sole got spikes also not scared... The pad pieces are made of metals...

And now I can push the clutch into full more easily...

At least no KRACK!!! sound when shifting gear sometimes...

(P.S.: I actually shifted the clutch with the brake pads position... If not sometimes when I press brake also can touch accelerator leh... You won't want that... What a design...)

What happened to my mudguard after 340km...

Nothing much visible at the rear mudguard...

The back portion was initially painted to test colors for the mudguard...

After 340km journey, you can see how important a mudguard is for protecting car from scratches.

Even PLUS highway also has lots of stones and chips laying around the road...

Basically some portion of the paint is stripped right off from the mudguard...

PS: I only drive according to speed limit through out the journey to and fro to Johor. Imagine if I don't, it'll be worse.

It is DRL (Daytime Running Light)

If you still can't get it, it's a standard for European cars, like those Merc, BMW, Audi has...

Nice le...

The light will be on whenever the car has it's engine on...

On daytime, the lights are at highest brightness to create awareness of the car.

At night time, once the headlamps are turned on, the DRL are dimmed to a comfortable level to avoid blinding drivers ahead.

Uncle Wiki said that:

A daytime running lamp (DRL, also daylight running lamp or daytime running light) is an automotive lighting device on the front of a roadgoing motor vehicle, installed in pairs, automatically switched on when the vehicle is moving forward, emitting white, yellow, or amber light to increase the conspicuity of the vehicle during daylight conditions.

Depending on prevailing regulations and vehicle equipment, the daytime running light function may be implemented by functionally-specific lamps, by operating the low-beam headlamps or fog lamps at full or reduced intensity, by operating the high-beam headlamps at reduced intensity, or by steady-burning operation of the front turn signals. Compared to any mode of headlamp operation to create the daytime running light, functionally-dedicated DRLs maximize the potential benefits in safety performance and minimize fuel consumption, glare, motorcycle masking, and other potential drawbacks.^[1]

I then installed it to the car... Took like an hour.

I tap the radio fuse from driver's fusebox and pull a wire passing through door hinges straight to the bonnet.
And please PLEASE add a RM4 fuse holder (and fuse 10 Amp fuse inside lah) before wiring do your DRL...
Unless you really want your radio to blow up together with your DRL on your lucky day... (Time to change new radio, Yay!)

Basically is cosmetic purpose only, not bright enough cause Audi and Merc DRL easily tapao me la...

So now I spray somemore for rear mudguard with paint...

Now it's dried and ready to install!

But let's try the front first...

Ok... this 2 took me an afternoon to install it... Why? Because i;m still sorting out with the clips of the mudguard... It also took some time to clean up some dirts, tars, soils and even plants inside my fender...

But the problem will never arise again with my mud "guard's" help.

So yeah, sunset orange with aluminium brown mudguard, not attention grabbing enough yet noticeable if parked along with other cars...

Initially tried a lot of ways without drilling the bumper, but all somehow didn't work out...

My neighbour then suggested me to drill the bumper and pasang saje...

But the car still cannot come back... Itu insurance adjuster kata stock bagi bonnet cloth belum sampai... Apa la, 1 month still belum sampai?!?

Submitted a total of 6 complaints, thats judged by eye only... Other problems yet to know after driving on the road... Haiz... Miss those days with NGV... No need care about petrol, just JALAAAAAAAAN...

First time Proton experience...

For the first time in the history, I went to Proton Centre to get replacement parts for the car...

About noon I reached the Mutiara Damansara 3S Centre (Sales, Service, Spare Parts), parked outside the centre as inside confirm no parking. Without caring will kena saman or not, I just walked in and headed straight to the spare parts office. (If kena saman, I think MBPJ will write till hand ache, coz it's about double parking on the left lane and single parking on the right lane, both ada yellow lines.)

As usual, i brought the power window switch which I wanted to replace. There is part number behind it, which is PW851670. The part number really save the hassle to go through the whole book of Waja spare parts. Yes, it's a book, thicker than a dictionary, and in a bad condition. I would really like to ask them whether they have an e-book for it... It would have been easier if it can be accessed at Proton website and customers can find their parts easily.

The personnel quickly keyed in the part number and found the stock. Its RM 30.20. (20cents also wan count meh, Proton?!?) He then retrieved the part from the racks and showed me. I was prepared to pay him and he asked me to go to the front counter for processing...

Went the front counter, basically the cashier and asked about it... A sales order is then issued to me by another assistant, which claimed that my car is not inside Proton database... He don't even bother to create a new customer number for me... He just used a Gen-2 victim to issue the sales order under her name. According to the sales order, I have the information (Yea, it's a her) about her car, mileage, vehicle number and even the engine chasis number. Besides, things gets personal when I even have her address and phone numbers... I think they need to really figure out on this...

I was then told to go to the parts room again to get the parts and bring it back to the sales. According to the person in the parts room, the sales should get the parts for me... After I got the parts, I can really just run off like that lo... No need pay also dunno... I then brought the parts to the sales and paid at cashier. RM30.20. consider one of the cheapest original Proton parts I think.

Finally i'm able to charge my 7 years old Ni-Cd batteries with a new charger from pc-fair.

Sunshine weekends before the rain...

Why sunshine before rain? = Why the calm before the exam?

This is called the immunity towards exam, or often described as, being totally ignorant towards exam.

Time went past real fast especially weekends...

Let's start of with some diary stories that may make you sleep...

Friday 8.45pm start car from college CIT. Being one of the last students to go home and also one of the last car to exit the college, tranquil silence and exceptional calm has been experienced. I did not on my car's air cond nor radio, instead lowered down the windows to experience the silence of the surroundings. Blazing cool breeze felt, moderate temperature, adequate pole light brightness, with exception to my running engine, the surrounding was rather quiet, incomparable conditions with the scenes of daytime rush everywhere in the college.

Slowly, I reversed and start to exit college. The Vios car in front of me was another couple, which also had came out together with me from CIT. Driving slowly, I trailed their car (Of course right...) then out of the gate. They made a left turn later towards Taman Bunga Raya while I headed straight passed CIT. Traffic light was green for me, then I started to head towards Jalan Genting Klang.

With pretty light traffic and the heat from the burning sun compared to daytime, driving is a lot more relaxing. Not much rushing is observed. i drove slower than usual, topping speed about 50km/h, all the way until highway. Basically light traffic observed all the way. It was a Friday, perhaps those drivers seemed more relaxed when driving, of course with some come at light speed of 3 X 10^8 m/s to rush home. Nah, not important.

Reached home just right to catch American Idol, with my dinner of course. Haha.

With much accompanying entertainment, it is time to sleep.

Saturday 1030am woke up to fetch sis to 1U. I then went to post office settle some stuffs and went Brother's Kelana Jaya to pick up some cheap stuffs. Purchased Dashboard Spray and Tar Remover for RM10, then another 4 sets of door protector for RM 10. Doze off at about 4pm until 6pm, where I washed the car and basically used the Tar Remover to remove dirt from the tyre rims.

Went to Murni Discovery for dinner and bumped a schoolmate there. Well, she had looked a lot more matured by now. Had a bit of catching up and went for the bill. catched up American idol results with surprise... Then doze off again.

Sunday 10am. Good morning and start to spray the dashboard cleaner all over the car's interior. Had some hard-to-clean dirt up, and it was 2pm with chicken rice as lunch. Had a game of Command and Conquer, and i'm right up to study Chem. Ya right, dozed off after 30 mins of organic chemistry. Woke up at 5 and went to polish car. Yesterday I observed a BMW parked right beside my car and, seriously it even shines + glows at night lamp. Had it polished and 7pm invites me to dinner. I caught a series of shows of News and The White Shark on NTV 7, then Overhaulin at 8TV till midnight. Now, i'm typing what you're reading.

Thats how I spent my weekend.

I will consider this quite typical weekend. No studies, no homework, just do what I liked to do.

Things go unlucky once you get the car on the road...

While some of them dun even know the rules, probably buy their license one, that includes:

1. Very very old uncle which go at 50km/h on the third lane. no car in far front, nor LHS (ultra-annoying on street roads)

2. Gives you braking signal and expect you to drop speed from 90 - 0 in 2 sec on the third lane (Seriously he expect you to perform stunts)

3. Orange signal not given, only when rampas parking, or half of the car dy pop-out of third lane only start flipping signal switch (Expect you to forgive and give him no horn)

4. Orange signal out, want to go from third lane to first lane in few meters (Intense braking on his car and your car will be observed)

5. Appeared to be in constant distance with your car behind you for the last 1 minute, turning on your orange signal to change to his lane will result him to pressing his pedal hard and honk you when you are on his lane... (What the?)

6. Stopping at 2nd lane to drop of his child and half squeezed to the third lane, when you squeeze through his car, he honks you for not seeing his car... (While supposedly the one that is blocking the way, and 100000000+ cars risk to get themselves slide through his car, while he claimed himself correct, 1 more, mana signal kiri (berhenti) dan kanan (keluar)??)

7. Waited patiently for your long queue? Be prepared to wait longer as those behind of you will somehow be in front of you... Even forcing you to give way to them...

8. Able to turn right not equals to making a right u-turn. Leaving other cars stucked in the opposite lane waiting for you to reverse and go will drive me crazy...

9. Motorcyclist, no no to criss cross side of the cars when signals are out to turn, and please, get your headlamps on, not blown.

While the situation may seem very bad, wonderful things happens once a while...

10. Allowing cars to come into your lane in a Y junction may result him to say thanks...

Refurbished Proton Dash Control Panel

For today it'll be a bit special...

This project will be about uninstalling, refurbish and reinstall the Proton Dash Control Panel as available to many Proton cars (Waja, Saga, Gen 2, Persona). The 5 buttons controls includes switches to alarm, fog lamp, hazard lights, heater for rear window, and also features an extra "useless" button (If not mistaken is Defrost button, applicable for export models only, you won't want it to be in your car in Malaysia).

Over the years of operations, LED lights will gradually dims itself out or totally blowed. If that's not the case, then wiring problem will usually occur for cars after 5 years. That's what happened to this controls. The middle Hazard light button LED is rather dim, and the heater for rear window idle LED experienced problem in lighting up itself. Another very common problem on electronics equipment.

After removing the covers and radio, i'm now able to access the dash controls easily. Just by removing another two extra screws and the front easily detachable panel, i'm able to pull the panel out with slight force.

I then removed the wires connected to the port, then unscrewed the panel. The screw can be found under the sticker saying "Warranty void if seal is broken or tampered." (As if they're giving me warranty) Unscrewing the console will make the back access comes loose, and can be easily opened out using Flat head screwdriver.

Very obvious, the white ports on the right are for the switches output with the black port on the centre as the input power supply. Thicker materials are used for the output as they involved high current i guess. (Fog lamps and Rear window heater. perhaps defrost too?)

You might notice the last button on the right, which is supposed to be defrost button, is occupied by two wires. Actually a soldered those two wires. Initially for car's interior illumination purpose, but failed as it output is less than 2V... (Optimal voltage for LEDs)

Notice the white LED in the middle and the wires running from second LED to the forth.

I changed the LED for the third switch (Hazard light) just by simple desoldering and soldering work. I even purposely change a bigger one so that it illuminates brighter. The original LED has been very dim. About the hot wiring from second to forth LED is to tap power from the second LED to the forth LED (Heater for rear window). Reason behind is the idle LED doesn't receive any power when i tested with my multimeter. To solve this with the simplest method, use the simplest wire trick. (Simple and Effective)

Thats how i spent another night for Proton...

Well, no user guide provided when the car is purchased over... Second hand mah. After like the radio fuse is out 2 days, I finally found that there's another fuse compartment located below the drivers steering. Thanks to a loooong research from the internet in Proton forums.

If you're wondering what's the boxy stuff beside the side mirrors adjuster, it is the NGV display unit. It displays real-time information whether petrol/natural gas combustion is used, together with NGV fuel indicator and also comes with switch to activate either petrol or natural gas.

After removing the cover holded by some kind of metal studs, the fusebox can be seen easily.

Was wondering what's with the fuse pointing out of the box. Found out that it's connected to the ECU (Electronic Control unit) of the vehicle. If not mistaken, this fuse will be for the NGV controls.

Without user manual again, I quickly identified the audio fuse (10 Amp RED) and removed it. Obviously seen its blown after some short-circuit when I tried to test my product (Posted on the post before this)

And also, I removed the cigarette lighter fuse (15 Amp yellow) as it was already blown since the car is delivered. To get the power from the cigaeatte lighter, I had hot-wired a connection from the radio's ACC wire to the cigarette lighter.

The blown fuse removed... Notice the broken link inside the middle of the fuse.

Quickly I removed the hot-wire from the radio to the cigarette lighter (To prevent short-circuit again) and replaced the fuse.

And the radio turned on instantly...

With the cigarette lighter working too...

Done...

Now i'm able to enjoy my ride with my product...

No more fear to blow up the radio...

And it's not on sale, due to overwhelming demand by all A-Level students around the world, the examination date will appear as special guest as usual, offering it at original price and yet, twice the stress!

A short survey from our reporters finds that the students WILL really enjoy the sale.

A: "It's still a good deal! The sale come less than a year in our tertiary studies, thats pretty amazing as I had waited for it my whole life!"

B: "The amount of sales is directly proportional to the stress level. However, the stress level is way to low for me."

C: "I'll work hard to get the best deals during the sale, I'm prepared and I'm just ready to go into the hall and wrote my name on it and walk out! It's going to be fun..."

However, some students seemed to be rather confused and gave various/out of topic responses.

D: "Sale? When is it? Where is it? How much discounts will we get? Maybe i'll get more bargains on my marks, i'm not prepared yet!"

E: "This discounts aren't important, whats important is the YES (Year End Sale)! I'm not going to this sale and will only go YES to get the best deals of town."

F: "I'm shifting away from this area, I'll go get into foundation studies soon."

G: "After the mid year and YES, with more than 12years studies in science field, I found out that it's too difficult for me to coupe with. I'm going for the ART Sale in my further studies. Hope it'll be better."

Just realized that i took this picture during chinese new year. While was screwing my speakers into its casing, i managed to poke a 1cm hole through it. That's a really huge crack we having on a speaker. Basically i patched it up the next day with acrylic silicone(those use for bath tubs/sinks). Luckily it works after drying. Applied a layer of permanent marker on it and done. Now its bass is just as awesome as last time.. Luckily..

Week without tutorials...

Well, din really finish tutorials... yet. Those ques can't solve 1 la... So can ignore... and if do too fast also useless, the 3 homework question for polar coordinates plotted dy, next week lecturer show another example then got all wrong... So i'm putting a neutral gear on my tutorials, just let it flow la..

Yesterday night tried to built a FM transmitter up, but failed...

It short circuit my new 9V battery to now remaining 8.5V... Waliao le... The battery seriously exp 1 lor... The battery hot till (luckily din explode, its 4am in the morning)

Basically today got a fm coil from car's alternator from my parents car service shop - Finally there's something free in my project...

I'm going to rebuild the FM transmitter again, removing those parts and re-solder to the board with a newly designed circuit positioning. And i've installed some programs to help me too... (Hope it can detect simple faults before i place the parts on the board)...

Still working on it, must finish it by today! There's 2 more projects on the way and test 4 is coming...

Built but got some short circuit le... Can't really detect fault... Just hope its not the transistor... RM3 le...

Now opting for software simulation before soldering...

DONE!

Upgrading works will commence soon...

These few days I went to Brother's to get a cheap tweeter at RM5 and a set of speakers at RM30.

Well, stuffs like these are the cheapest that they sell over there.

Perhaps they are already immune to me... Cause every time I go there, normally I will just look around and stare at the price... And also go to the outdated stocks section to see cheap stuffs they offer, and I will just walk off later. Haha... These led to few sales personnel dy dun choi me... But it's ok, I'll have a more peaceful in making decision.

Recently I saw Brother's ad in Media Focus, they're offering a 3 way speaker at only RM30, woofer forRM20. So I went there one day and eventually had a great intro from a sales personnel, (just ask me to increase my budget gua)... I told him i'm going to do a project and need cheap speakers will do, he showed me the RM30 one first, then would like me to increase the price range higher, RM58 for a better one (4way). But waliao le, RM60 i dy can buy two set of the RM30 1 la... He said RM30 1 no sound 1 wo, the RM58 is a better brand. And since i'm interested in getting a tweeter also, he recommended me RM99 with tweeters and 3 way speaker. I was like, waliao dy...

I then asked for price of a branded one... He told me its going to be RM200 and above for branded, but they're having a promo... (Walks away to check stock)

RM158 and 188 for Panasonic 3 way/4way speakers. I was like (Hey, thats really cheap for a branded1)... But budget really cant la, if not i'll be starving to death in college just to invest on a pair of branded speakers.

Eventually I ended up with the RM30 speakers and a RM5 tweeter (RM3.50 cheapest, i was like, i think it'll be gone as soon as i connect it to my amp. He recommended me a RM68 one...)

When I was unpacking to test the speakers at midnight, which results in dizziness on the next day lectures, the cover says 600W PMPO... I was like, RM30 and 600W? correct bo? A good research on internet says that PMPO is just a dumb measurement of watts a speaker can handle... Fine then...

The speakers is ultra light 1 lo, compared to others. the magnet is like only a bit and can unscrew one le... But RM30, can la... 3 ways some more le... So I quickly put it to my amp... And hey, its quite loud le. I dun see any distortion from the speaker... Worth gua. The tweeters are doing fine too... Max treble and max vol can give a very loud performance.

CHEAP = OK OK Punye QUALITY... Can la...

I also bought a RM20 amp, just tested it and working well also...

Seriously I dun really know whats the difference in performance of branded and unbranded yet beside the material factor...

Anyway, I'm firing up a new system soon!

It's going to be something like two speakers in a casing with an amp.

That box must be lightweight (My speakers can collaborate very well as its ultra light 1), LOUD, Going to full range of sound, 1 tweeters and 2 ways speaker for each channel, and user friendly...

Now i just need boards and jigsaw cutters... See how la... Haiz... Test coming le... Chaoz..

Since holidays I had been working on multiple electronic projects, based on my interests of course, besides adding more functionality and practicality to my product.

A Pre-Amp would not work without an amp. So what's below is also another custom built amp.

With LED Volume Unit Meter! Rare item man!

Once you turn on the switch for the amp, Pre-Amp is set to be in standby mode until you turn it on. This is ultimately prefect for normal power up without sudden "pop" that will damage the speakers.

You might think that The arrangement of the control knobs seems wrong, but its purposely made like this for quicker access to Bass and Treble controls, which is more easily reachable than less used controls like Balance. Volume knob is all way to left for easy access also.

Another thing about this controls is the minimum volume will be on the right and maximum volume on the left. Which is a total contrast to a normal pre-amp, hi-fi system, etc. This is purposely introduced not to complicate the users, but to add an innovative yet distinctive touch on this unique product.

This pre-amp is currently powering my old Sony TV woofer. With little treble and 3/4 for bass at half of its volume up, the sound produced should be loud enough to play with...

Now i'm enjoying the system with newly released Fish Leong song's.

(Yea, her song doesn't need a woofer)

Anyhow, i'm very satisfied with the performance of this pre-amp coupled up with my 300 Watts amp. This whole system is cheaper than anything else you can find outside with it's substantial performance.

Up Next I'm going to improve on the appearance of the pre-amp. Perhaps paste sticker overlaying the front panel to improve its overall appearance.

After much consideration, I decided to ignore all those objectives first. I repositioned the whole interior first to enable me to cover my portable amp. Well, shifting is a real tiring work as it affects all my initial wiring that I had done.

Steps taken:

1. Altered the position of my switch and done!

2. LED lights up after placing a 1000 ohm resistor + soldering to LED. So when it's on, it lights up too!

3. Noticed that the woofer may sound too loud at times, therefore, the switch is brought to front and even placed outer than the cover for easy volume control

4. Microphone project disabled temporary to make way for project progress. I'll get it done later.

5. Interior is fully rewired and tidy upped (Although not much significant difference with before)

6. Added better functionality for easier consumer use. Now all in and out connections can be accessed from the back panel (I'll add output connector for today at the back)

Tuesday

- Evening: Purchased amplifier @ RM38 at Brothers KJ. Did not buy something expensive as recommended by salesperson, but headed straight to the cheapest amp. Sales person chased me out on my first attempt to get a cheap one. But my persistency in the shop for hours made me chosen a right amp with another salesperson (Who is very desperate to get a sales done that day)

- Midnight to morning : Installed and not working as loud noise overcomed the original sound itself + Found out that need to buy a converter

Wednesday

- Evening: Bought a converter which changed "high-input" to "line input"

- Midnight to morning: Experiment with line converter but does not seemed working as no sound is heard to be output. But later stage found that it actually works with little noise. Tried grounding the amplifier to Earth and got better. Seconds later got worse. After removing the Earth wire, it's better now. Therefore will proceed without Earth connections anymore. Very satisfied with capabilities that can be done by amplifier to add the subwoofer volume.

Thursday

- Midnight to morning: Dismantle everything in an old DVD player and prepared to put my amp and converter into it. Last pic taken is 5.36am.

Placed my Proline GP-118 amp+converter in. Wired it up. Stripped the connectors of my converter and its 5.36 a.m.

Daily Digest of first day of holiday....

First day of holidays!

Yea, so basically a supposingly "long" holidays started. For this holidays, planned to do a project. So lets do it on first day of holidays!

I have a old Sony TV Woofer (Still sounded very good from an old 29" CRT TV). 15 Watts, at least better than any cheap speakers on LCD or Plamsa TV on market. It does really pump up some good low frequency sound (Bass). Initially, I opened up the whole woofer to tap the speaker's positive and negative connections with wires. And it's connected to my Micro Hi-Fi, which also served as my computer speakers.

However, the woofer sounded disappointing. The sound generated is considered inaudible from far / on top of my micro Hi-Fi. Unless you put it in front of you, then you can really get some good bass of it.

So? My TV, which is just opposite my computer... Yo, a really old 90's 14" CRT TV, not LCD / Plasma k? If not then happy till no need blog dy la... Sanyo CAP4012L, which still can be seen on some TARC busses.

Sound: Mono-speaker system (That's really ok in the 90's but now = disappointing)

Sounded quite bad in terms of bass as it used only a "toy-speaker". So I decided to add this woofer to it. Hoping it will have an audible bass though.

After getting some simple tools, I opened the whole back cover of the TV. Just 4 screws! (TV nowadays = 2 screws but prepared to break open other connectors).

Obvious enough, the humungous space at the back is for the picture tube.

After giving the circuit board a good vacuum (Very free), realized a sticker patched on top right of TV tube. Sanyo - Warning!... (Not important) and...

Made by Samsung, Korea. Wow! A Japanese brand took their main stock from Korea? Funny but true. 90's wei, Japanese technology is the best at that time... Korea? Not heard before until today

With enough of exploration, I headed straight to the speaker. As expected, 2 wires popping out from the speaker. But what's even better is it has 2 long positive and negative plate for the speakers wires to be wrapped around it. Just as wished gua. No need to tap wires! I quickly inserted 2 connectors and screwed tight down to the plate.

Now is the problem of getting the wires out of the box... I have no drill (Doubt i'll drill perfectly also). So searched for holes behind the TV. Spotted 2 weird shaped but small holes behind the TV. That's great! Just that its too small for my wire to go through. I stripped of the insulator and the core wires got through. Phew! (Notice that the green wire is just an extra). Tested with direct connection to the woofer straight away. It's just wow... The low and mid + high frequency just matched each other so harmonically. At least i'm able to get some bass when watching TV3 Cinema ok? lol. It sounded even better when I played CD with my 1996 Thomson VCD. (Yea, I agree all my media can be sent to museum dy.)

Now it's a lot neater now. Quickly secured the woofer wires and Voila! It's just great, great and great! Got my TV cover back to its position and done.

Sanyo + Sony = Twins?

It just sounded like I have a mini theatre system running on this TV. The bass volume is good and just nice. Just nicely sync with the mono 2W speaker tone. The longer I place my eyes on this TV, the more I like how it sounds. Very satisfied with this simple and great invention. Enjoying a 14" TV was never like this before in my life.

Now what? According to principles of GP........ Must always have conclusion le. Since Malaysia Day is around the corner, I shall stress the importance of Malaysia's independance. We shall appreciate what's now. And the easiest way? Supporting people like me! All customly "Made in Malaysia". Well, we shall really be proud of our country... Because...

Was doing some cleaning of my book rack on 22 Dec 2009 starting at 9.24pm (According to my pic time). Lol. A lot of memories flash back le. Waliao, after SPM still can't forget, cham lo.

Procedure to clean up your "junks":

Step 1: Take out all your books k?

Step 2: As reference to the picture below, go through every page of your notes. For double sided printing papers, pile it on one side. If its only single sided prints, tear it out to be used in your printer/draft paper/toilet paper/kitchen towel/bath towel also can. As long as you reuse it. Save the earth man! My tuition centre offers 80gsm papers, its papers quality enables double sided printing to be done without jamming your printer although its old/folded.

These papers are just too good to be thrown away.

Precaution: Some staples will just break off before you even touch it, but some may cut you + rusty too. Lol. Its a hectic time for me to remove all the staples for single sided prints just to not spoil the paper. Some of my prints has 3-4 staples near to each other to hurt my fingers even more. refer to the picture below for some examples.

All my accounts tuition notes has at least 2 staples on each leaflet.

From my tuition teacher marking of my 启事, I think he really had a massive headache marking my papers, plus he's 60+ dy. LOL.

Another 新闻稿... Headache for him too... I always face problems remembering how to write chinese words + grammar probs too.

The chinese paper that never been signed + approved + taken = Pro? Yes its pro.

This is where rise my confidence in taking my accounts. my first term mock exam at tuition centre.

But on the second mock examination, I failed. LOL.

Just realised my tuition centre even give out real SPM accounts papers for our second term mock exam. Look at my buku tunai... 0.9 marks weih, pro.

Aiya, forgotten to return Hui Nee's note that I borrowed. Hui Nee you won't mind hor?

Ohya, and say hi to these books that I bought but didn't touch before during form four. Lol.

Kurangkan sukatan pelajaran peperiksaan SPM

KUALA LUMPUR - Kementerian Pelajaran bercadang untuk mengurangkan sukatan pelajaran bagi beberapa kertas peperiksaan berbentuk subjektif dalam Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM).
Timbalan Ketua Pengarahnya, Dr. Haili Dolhan berkata, cadangan itu bertujuan mempercepatkan proses penyemakan dan pengumuman keputusan peperiksaan SPM yang mengambil masa agak lama untuk diumumkan.

Katanya, cadangan berkenaan tidak bermakna akan memendekkan sukatan pelajaran sebaliknya bertujuan mengurangkan penumpuan kepada aspek penilaian keputusan SPM berasaskan peperiksaan.

''Sebagai contoh, keputusan SPM tidak lagi tertumpu kepada keputusan peperiksaan 100 peratus malah bergantung kepada kemahiran sampingan berkaitan mata pelajaran tertentu seperti menghasilkan kertas projek, amali dan sebagainya.

''Bagaimanapun, cadangan ini masih dalam rangka kajian dan memerlukan penelitian terperinci memandangkan kertas peperiksaan SPM mempunyai standard peperiksaan yang tinggi," katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita pada Majlis Sepetang Bersama Media sempena Pesta Buku Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur 2009 di sini semalam.
Cadangan itu ialah antara pendekatan yang akan digunakan kementerian tersebut untuk mengatasi masalah penyemakan dan pengumuman kertas peperiksaan SPM yang mengambil masa agak lama.

Menurut Haili, kementerian itu juga bercadang untuk menambah bilangan guru pemeriksa kertas peperiksaan SPM bagi mempercepatkan proses penyemakan.
''Buat masa ini, kita mempunyai bilangan pemeriksa kertas SPM dan Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) yang agak kecil jika dibandingkan peningkatan jumlah pelajar dan mata pelajaran yang diambil.

''Ada pelajar yang mendaftar sehingga 20 mata pelajaran dalam SPM dan ini mengambil masa agak lama untuk disemak memandangkan jumlah pemeriksa yang terhad,'' katanya.
Bagaimanapun, katanya, cadangan-cadangan ini masih dalam pertimbangan dan sekiranya relevan untuk diaplikasikan dalam peperiksaan SPM, ia akan diperkenalkan awal tahun depan.

First Week of School......

It just passed... And its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLOW! Haha... First day you heard words like... 5 Batai will use the new block at the field... Middle of Angsana and Belian... I was like... (Optimisticly) Okays... Looks like we are the first batch to to experience our new class... But then...

Ok... Don't ask me where the doors and lights is. Since its not completed... Some prefect suggested us to bring our bags to the assembly. At the assmebly... 5 batai ditempatkan sementara di makmal komputer. Ok... Mark, you got it correct. It's great without mosquitos and staying in an air conditioned environment. While some classes aren't that lucky... 2 classes specially located in the hall while another, in the library... Perhaps we had the best choice, at least we have personalised space. With the door shut (Even if its open) Its quiet enough = Volume of pengumuman = <0. also =" Volume">100% = <0%>

After settling down with form teacher coming in and sort things out... Time for class AJK's... SURPRISINGLY, Oh yes it is! Chee Meng somehow got my name in his mind for SECRETARY post... Waliao! Heavy burden weh... But still accept lo... All class AJK's will have 1 Bonus mark in your koku. So please work hard for your marks (Like what I had been doing since last year). Koku form arrived... Headache... Anyway I'm sick on first and second day... Haha. Now we are asked to fill in the form with your koku activities... I was having problems with it... Big prob yeah... How to fit more clubs into the form... I had 8 activities anyway... (Dropping some)...

Overview of first week... Started a bit lesson with a lot of expenditure on this recession year... Prices went up like... The computer lab was very comfy but... Desas-desus behind me was loud just because of computer lab matter... Responsibility level somehow went higher this week., haha. Microclimate in computer lab for this week was all clear with the average temperature of 24C, without ignoring some said cold while some complained hot... Thought that alarm is activated and nearly set off an alarm at 7 in the morning. Tuition all started and things getting busy... Koku stuffs pours in... Incoming official SMS has been slightly increasing with prediction that within next few days my credit will be out. Filled our SPM resgistration form and having a hard time to decide on some subjects... But turns out that the last minute decision is relieving... Begs is unusually heavy... Stress level is on Max now... Haiya... Lazy to write anymore... Wanna sleep... Chao...

My Signature Creation...

Yeah, the creation that got me nominated by the APICTA Awards. I was only given a week to prepare and touch up eveything... Eventually I rebuilded it... Haiz... Programming is a huge mess that time... Programming software got prob, 3D modelling software also turn me down... Dah hampir "ki siao" leh. Haha.

I used to inspire a robot that can help to... Somehow... Guard things? CCTV came to my mind... But I wanted to have a so called "Smart" system that is simple and affordable. So I will make use of camera, instead of CCTV then. The "Smart Guard" system will snap a picture and trigger a loud alarm when it detects something unusual - Loud noise or abnormal distance level. Just placed it behind your doors or windows. It will capture the face of the... Person... Haha.

Build with shock and shatter resistance material... gua... Camera will be protected. (I didn't afford to try it...) To retrieve the camera, you will need a passcard. It can recognise 16 passcards = 16 Users. I'm using binary system. Besides, to activate and deactivate the "Smart Guard" system, you will need to swipe passcard and enter a sequence of code, so that the "Person" can't deactivate the alarm that easily gua... Battery and camera chamber is protected from dismantling purpose. Enough explanation dy lar... Later people sleep in front of com leh... Wan to say somemore? Can... This can actually attracts children leh, so pasaran no prob. (My target its not for real industry purpose yet, just as a amateur security system). Put it inside your locker, near your room's door, so that you get to know who entered your room before. Haha... Needless to say: Turn off the flash k? Plug your camera and this robot to an adapter k? (The robot can tahan quite long without adapter actually). So... Presenting Guardbot! Haha...

Its like an airport... At here is the place where we have people arrive and depart in our life... We welcomed them with a good impression of us... And we hope that when they depart, they will remember us... Thats typical... But in some cases,perhaps they departed in rush and, without us nor them realised presence each other. Motorcycle exp...

Few days ago just went here and there to ask about driving. Well, i'm going to class on 29th to sit there for a 5 hours, YES, 5 HOURS talk... Bla... Bla... Bla... My parents said: "Undang is always correct...(Or true la)" But I totally disagreed... My quote: "Undang is only applicable when accidents happen, and people do not want to alert police for that...And they solved it with money lor...Credit card not accepted..." A very good way to make instant and easy money in this financial crisis gua. Haha!

So then... Unlike most of my friends, i'm going to take motorcycle and car... So, my parents said that if I have free time in the evening, which I always have... But not all the time of course... I can use my parents motorcycle and have some "training" around my housing area...

We started on today then. I alerted my mom that I'm going to learn today... She said before: "It's like riding a bike la, just that you wouldn't need to pedal... It's that easy... Just turn the knob and far you go... No need to cycle until you sweat+++"

So its evening... I pushed out the motorcycle to side of the road then... As usual, that heavy... Honda Super Cub 700... Erm, 0.7 cc... Not 700cc ah... So pushed it to the roadside... Then I have two "qualified" instructors helping me out... Haha... That bike can be considered showroom new... Bought it over from my cousin about... Arh, at least 10 years k? Haha... It's not frequently used, only "often"... Only for Short trips, like to market, or (seldomly) fetch me to tuition and all those errands gua...

Back to topic... Haha... Pushed the kep to the "Ready" position... "Neutral" gear light still off... Which is supposed to be on if your gear is at neutral position. Actually I'm prepared theoritically about the motorbike thingy... I even dismantled before the battery cover i think... Haha... And parents sometimes also teach a bit a bit mah... My dad commented... "The gear is neutral dy (While stepping on the gear to ensure its neutral), just that the battery died a bit..." So I started the motor with my hands turning the accelerator and start with with legs ah... At that era no such thing as pressing a "Start" button will start the engine... First attempt failed, But I learned fast (I had started it before though). For the second shot the engine comes into alive... The "Neutral" light is on, if i don't release the accelerator... Looks like it needs a bit charge huh?

Then my dad say: "Release the accelerator la..." Erm, if i release the accelerator, the engine will go die... He insisted. So I released lo... Before the engine goes die, he placed his hand on accelerator again, perhaps I'm right... He then turn the accelerator till the motor engine... Haha... 60 houses can hear gua... So it's warm up... Then they teach here and there lo... About the signal switch, lights switch, Front and rear brakes, gear and accelerator. I sat at my dad's back and he showed me one time how he change gear and all those... I can't see anything actually... Haha... So he made one u-turn and came back. I tried to observe what he did, of course.

Now my turn... So i got up the motorcycle... Felt very scared lo... And nervous... Don't know what to do suddenly. I thought the rear brake ahould be on the left and gear should be at right, but it's inverted... Apala... Of course right leg more active ma, gear should be on right rite? Common sense la... Stunted there like few minutes observing here and there. Then I stepped on the gear... 1st gear... Hmm... Tried to accelerate... The starting went well until I suddenly placed a bit more energy to the accelerator and suddenly lurch backwards... Haha... the experience is not bad though, my leg suddenly felt like nothing to do! Perhaps i gotta accept the fact that the bicycle's pedal had already switched to brakes and gears gua. Haha. So now the engine is roaring loudly, time to change gear I suppose, but I don't dare mah, I released the accelerator a bit. Whole motor and body lurch forward... Apala... Susahlah macam ini... I made an u-turn... (With my legs on ground, lols...) Went back and asked my parents why the motorcycle jerks like that if I release the accelerator... Answer lies beyond your imagination... Use the second gear la...

I went another round with first gear... I scare i'll lost control if I use the second gear as I felt that first gear is quite fast. No choice, lets try... Accelerated only like... 20km/h, changed to second gear... Wah... Too fast! Release the accelerator... Wah, cool! Not much jerk dy... I'm in control now... Haha... Then suddenly a car turns in... Apala! I braked with my front brake lo... Won't really stop one and brings the motorcycle like sitting on the horses on merry go round. Kept on going up and down like what... Then my parents commented again, use the rear brakes... I went to another street and tried the rear brakes... Not bad wo... Then repeated a few rounds for practice... Now i'm able to make u-turns without placing my legs on ground!

My mom asked me to go practice around this few streets which has less car... And keep left lo, so no need see traffic from right ma... Haha. So I started with my neighbouring street, then going bigger and bigger... At one junction I braked like what leh... The car like so fast! Emergency rear and front brake... I think whole neighbourhood can hear the braking sound between the brake pad and the wheels loh... Erm, my speed only like 40km/h... So no prob loh... Lols.

I went on... Then got 1 part... I'm on the left ma... Right? All the cars oppositing me kept to my lane woh.. I was like... Huh? This is not GTA ma... Its not America or Germany here... I remembered clearly that out country uses left driving system leh.. I had been sitting beside driver in car for my whole life... And I doubted I did wrongly... I'm on my lane right? I didn't really care, I just make sure I switched on my lamp so that the cars can see me... But I doubted they even notice me even if I had used beam light. Went back and asked my parents bout this, I'm right... Haha... Now you can see people actually does not follow the law (Only beginners gua, and during the examiner is beside you, Lols!)

Then it started to rain a bit... So I have no doubt, its getting dark also... I went back... I'm going to practice again... It's fun actually... No need to pedal like bicycle dy... Dah upgrade dah... Lols. Next time I'll go with the basics, I gotta start to familiar myself with signal switches... But I dare to say, if you use signal at this neighbourhood, people will thought you're mad (Unless got car around you of course)... And I still remember my parents mentioned about hand signal. Erm, I think if you used hand signal and place like Kampung Cempaka when there is no vehicle near you, perhaps whole kampung will think you're mad... Give you a situation, you're on a street, 1am perhaps? Now you wanna slow down and stop... You give the "slowing down" and the "stopping" hand signal... People will think you're waving to... To who ar? 1 am woh, no people woh, then they thought maybe you can see something that they can't see... Haha...

It was tuesday after school then... My routine will be actually go and update some djnet website for my clubs, but it's ok, since i'm going to change my routine and going out for... Lunch!... Well... Talking about lunch is the meal that is eaten in the middle of the day either personally or together or grouply right? So we choose to be a grouply one's... (I didn't get to choose actually)... So its like... Leave all the bags in library, going out of school, with a bunch of girls... To be precise, 6 of them... Uh hum... Yea, you're right, the only guy there... Why? because some people say that its not safe for a girl to walk back to school alone if she comes back early. So... I follow lor... To produce a Kertas Kerja for this... You will need to write... Aktiviti ini dapat mengeratkan hubungan silaturahim bla bla bla... Hui Nee already tired of hearing this from me... I suppose. Anyways... So Wei En and Hui Nee took the lead...

Since I'm at the back... So another friend ah, suggested ar... "You want to hold her hands also can one..." I blurred out... (Not blacked out in the middle of the road lar)... Haiz... Just walk... Reached junction... Ask wanna follow or just fo against rule? So we decided to follow i think... And headed to Atria lor...

Reached the restaurant, sat down... Eating with some "cameraing interruptions". Then well... We finished... I can see the boss somehow tak syok us... We were noisy,busy (posing), and... Funny! Haha... We actually preordered "Combo laughing set" for our meal.

Wait... Wait... Wait... Time for commercials! Introducing pineapple fried rice! (If i'm not wrong...) (Read in the those professional tone) A plate of fried rice cooked with delightful Sarawak pineapple, slices of fresh from cameron carrots, and imported finest chicken cube...? Topped with fried onions, serving you the best food at the best atmosphere in best restaurant in town, which has a few patches of holes on the wall behind my seat, its all here, at a 5-Star restaurant, not this restaurant... Whatever...

Its yours, sir... Serve you RIGHT with a smile... Lols...

Okays, cut crap huh? I'm back.... Dun worry, i'm not writing an english essay for some teacher to mark... Hehe... As my last post warns you about something... Here's the reason...

Well, it was 16 August 2008... Lets see... After my chinese tuition (which I skipped a lot)... My family and I went back to my mom's hometown... Then pass toll... (You don't need me to tell you that) Guess what's special? We were driving slow all the way... Not that slow... Below 130km/h? Not that fast right? Hehe... Until we reached the Nilai exit... So we chosed the path to south... And here we started to go Fast (But not furious)... Lol... It was just an ordinary trip... Since I was sitting in front for the past... Erm... Maybe 12 years? No difference for that day... Traffic getting bit tense at Senawang-Seremban stretch... But still able to speed...

We're in the third lane, 2km left to Seremban's interchange... It was about 6.40... Something funny happened...

Saw the picture above? Okok... Not the car hit this thing lar... Like that I won't talk here anymore k? Somehow the metal wheel of this type of dump truck thingy was rolling on the third lane... Bear in mind that i don't think I can even carry the roller, it's a pure metal... Expect how heavy it is... Come to how rational you are... Do you expect a few tonne's garbage lorry speeding more than 110 km/h at the third track? And there is no car in front of us at that time... So no one to suspect also if its done intentionally. But the final conclusion will be its dumped from the third track of opposite lane... That's the most rational one. We thought its just a paper at first... Then saw the roller then... Pap! Kena... It's impossible to brake at the moment, cars following tight behind... (You can see merz and bmw at high speed, depends on the place, they might reach up to 180+km/h near Tangkak interchange) Lets see... Hmm... What will happen if the roller goes through the car tyres? Nothing much will happen actually, for a 12 wheeler lorry, but for a car... Normally just flip and overturn + another few cars behind from 2 lanes will just crush you to death.

So thank god and dunno who as it went through middle of the car... Followed by the loud bang, my mom look through the rear window and saw the metal roller direction was "redirected" to the side of that lane. (I'm not talking about robotics) So we stopped aside and have a look. Engine oil is leaking... My father was worried about the engine is dented... (If it's dented the engine will either need to be overhauled or changed as the piston will got stuck and bla bla bla). Last time my father's Wira's engine cost us around 5000 for everyhting. This time is Waja + Auto... Price of an engine might just easily doubled up for auto cars... Thats what I heard. To check whether its petrol or engine oil leaking, I pushed the car in front... The car is not that heavy... Hehe. So what we saw...

So confirmed its engine oil... Its just like less then few minutes the engine oil dy leaked till like this... No idea of what to do... Hehe... So we called PLUS... For those who don't know, they are so effiicient that they have few Ronda cars every interchange and they will take more then 40 minutes to come... Last time we kena tow, PLUS towed us to the interchange, then they received another report, however, what I heard is... "Kita minum teh dulu...". And I think their "teh" will take up 30 mins gua... Thats why its so efficient!

Within minutes, a red Saga came and stopped on opposite emergency lane. The person crossed the road and jumped over the road divider then crossed the road again... What's this? Can kena saman one wei... The red shirt indian came to us, checked the car for us and say oil filter pecah... He talk there like 15 minutes nagging us to his workshop. He claimed that his shop is behind Balai Polis Seremban. He said, tow he will charge 40, then others only see how it goes... We didn't believe of course, I was there being very awared of all these. He gave us his name card... Which I think belongs to the same "gang"...

So we just ignored him and he left... I started to suspect things are going really wrong... 5 minutes later, a blue Saga came... Same as just now, another yellow shirt with jeans indian came out... This time he knows how to speak chinese! Waliao! tergugat sama sekali... He showed us his card first, very gentlemen...

He offered us RM 45 for everything... I got some proof here! Hehe... No one knows I was recording... The time when this video is taken is about 6.50 p.m.

Well... I don't know what tong is minyak haram... Then every car got minyak haram then... The thing is called the storage for engine oil... He claimed that oil filter pecah (thats true) and the storage might leak... But if leak a bit still can travel till Muar... And its impossible to find engine oil at price of 30, (Engine oil that he showed to us is Perodua and KCC brand) Oil filter imitation might get bout RM10? But he claimed that its original and only RM8! And NO towing fee! (Isn't this like the Yuk Chai UPSR trials paper Bahasa Cina comprehension part? Where two businessman tricked their customer like this?) To convince us again, he claimed that his shop is ALSO behind Seremban police station... AND HE CLAIMED THAT PLUS CALLED HIM TO COME! What's this rubbish? PLUS don't come by a SAGA! Here's another video I recorded... The time when this video is taken is 6.59pm.

Conversation between the person, my dad and my mum...

In this conversation, he also claimed once again that we are only required to change engine oil and oil filter then its all ok... He stressed again only RM45 will do all the work... So, eventhough I bantah sekeras-kerasnya... Haiz... So kena tow dy... I was not that surprised when I saw two PLUS tickets sticking out from the car radio compartment. According to the act of not returning the ticket or obtaining a ticket not directly from toll plaza, if found... Sabit kesalahan about 50000 to 2000000 I think, and may dipenjarankan dunno 5 tahun. So... Perhaps this person gotta be in jail if I reported this to PLUS.

So after towing, we reached the toll... That person just say... Hanya buat U-turn sahaja... So its free... Then he also obtained the ticket from my father and said no need to pay for the ticket... Whats the prob? RM45 got inclusive of RM15? Totally sounds wrong! So how? Your car kena tow what... What can you do huh?

So memories of going kerjaya came back... Cause we passed this toll mah, and after the toll is turn to the right. But this time it was left! I was trying to recognise the road... Something is going wrong... The person leads us inside a housing area... Turn here turn there, just like turning inside Kampung Cempaka for the first time... We passed through houses, pusat pemulihan, even chickens also got leh! Then we were led to a semi industrial estate... As stated in the card address (Green Technology Park). He showed us his shop... We were towed in then...

For your info, we were towed in to the back door of the shop... Which is supposely be the front... It was about 7pm... Then they start dismantling lar... About 6-7 person dismantle a car? What the problem? Even I also can dismantle some oil filter myself! Then they claimed that the oil filter got stuck with the "kemek" engine oil storage. So they dismantle lar... Trying to waste time... Then they dismantled... And found out another part of it spoil. The filter that is suppose to filter the engine oil that leads to the engine... The gauze was torn... So they say... "Itu spare part tak ada punya, kena beli..." So they called my father in to the office... Then, the yellow shirt guy said (in chinese): "Your father call you woh..." I was trying to monitor them so that they don't do too much "things" to the car... So I looked through the window to the ofice... My father was talking loud inside the office... And no sign of calling me... And said (in chinese): "No la, he will come out and call me one..." So they continue dismantling... All of them speak Tamil... But I caught a word... "Kacau" sahaja... This is their trick, if i'm not there, maybe the whole engine already down.. Haha... I got the recording of it... Just that I don't know how to translate... Anyone want help out? Hehe...

Then my father came out, he said, gotta leave the car till tomorrow only can take back as no spare part dy... But tomorrow is a SUNDAY! What's the prob? And its really unsafe to leave the car there, for sure they'll steal those things in car... Like radio or something? Or change your wiper? Change your headlight? We won't know... A glance through the whole workshop shows that all cars registration number are mostly started with another state... "A"- Alor Star, "B"- Selangor, "W"- Wilayah, "M"- Melaka... There is no "N"- Negeri Sembilan's car! So sudah sah something is wrong... And all the cars are totally dismantled, whole engine down, seat lost, steering lost, no light... They're totally condamned!

When I was looking over my father's car... I heard someone at the back... There's few indian guys at back also... Said that "Ada satu kereta di jambatan sana ah..." Then a guy went out with another Saga... Sah sekali lagi... They have contact with PLUS... So the thing goes like, I call PLUS, PLUS call the ronda person, ronda person call them, then they go, after more than 40 mins or a certain time frame or failed to convince the driver, then PLUS will go... If their business is sucess, PLUS ronda person got some money from it... Thats the way man!

So my father then ask them to place back everything and change a new filter with new engine oil... They tried to convince so that we leave our car there... Which will destroy the whole car... So they changed a dunno what brand oil filter... Something funny again... They took out a few different types of oil filter, and then try to fit to the hole 1 by 1... PRO! If its a trained person or even a new worker, they should know at least Waja uses which type of filter right? And the "ORIGINAL" filter? Where got? They give some dunno dumb brand filter... Haiz... We don't care, we just wanna leave, its like 8.30 dy... They installed back everything... And when they pour the engine oil, its sososososo FUNNY! They just poured the oil in like that without usinf like any funnel or what... Completely rubbish service... And they should give back the portion that is unused, but they just took it... Waliao...!

So all done, car started, ok... Now the price, my father went in and said... yes, 400! Hehe... Don't worry, its 450! So... Haha... Diela... My father was trying to negotiate... But failed lah... He's calling my uncle at Johor perhaps to come down and deal with the price... But didn't la, cause impossible one... My father was all the way holding my phone, his battery died out... Seeing us refusing to pay, they drive our car into the shop, and pull down all the grills except one left at te back of the shop, super wrong now... I just realised there is still like 15+ person in the office, some gambling some just sitting... Gangster lar! So total of those people in workshop is 20+. So 20+ indian guys in a workshop... If you don't pay up, mostly just pull down the last grill, then what do they do in middle of night 20+ indians with few chinese girls and some weak guys? That depends on how imaginative and alert are you... I have no chance to get evidence, but then, I managed to take back the phone at the last moment proofong that this happens and if want report to police for jenayah and Kementrian Perdagangan dan Hal-Ehwal Pengguna, this evidence is very useful and very strong... So I recorded this... Its in my pocket so its very blur... But the subtitle helps and this is the most accurate one!

Negotiating the price

So engine oil suppose to be RM30 because of their "inflation" of more then 8% so... become RM68 for a KCC or rather never heard before brand... So called "Original" Oil filter from RM10 to RM12, Tow which shouldn't cost A SINGLE CENT become RM100! Pro le... Then labour RM250!!!!!! Gila habis... We thought of report police before, but it's useless I suppose. Well, they did for one hour and a half, still shouldn't be that expensive... Standard car service and labour price guide provided by Kementrian Perdagangan dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna is available at all workshops (Including theirs)... So next time you service your car you know lar...

It was bout 9.15. So we went out of the shop, drive away, finding ways out... The person actually lead us a long way, we used the main road and got out within minutes! They purposely turn here and there so that you can't find their shop... But sadly, I know the way! Haha... So we arrived at a Petronas Station... All the police cars are there... SWT! Yeah... Got Natural Gas! We ran out of natural gas actually... Lols! This shot was taken the next day when we got back from Muar.

Our journey continued after getting some advice through phone from uncle. We bought a bottle of engine oil in case. At anytime if the engine oil ran out = Overhaul... So we went slow and stop at Ayer Keroh R&R... Oil level still ok... So we added a bit and continued our journey... We successfully reached at 11.15pm+.

We have our dinner then... (Supper gua)... One of my uncle which work part time as a transporter had experience in this too... There's one time his lorry broke down in Seremban, tyre pancit woh, supposely they put some sharp things in purpose to make the tyre pancit, so they approached him. The nut to secure the lorry tyre seems to difficult for "them" to unscrew, so they offered to tow to their workshop again. Well, he managed to wait for PLUS and PLUS has all the equipments! Its too easy to unscrew with the proper tools... So don't believe in all these offer. He said its a syndicate operating underground led by a Malay leader. The Malay leader employed this Indians to work for him... And the road between Seremban and Senawang Highway is a Black Area of this syndicate operation. So, drive slow along this area to avoid all these.

Another uncle of mine which works as a mechanic claimed that he went there for tow before. But after he towed his customers car (Under insurance company order), a few Saga's kept on approaching his tow car and seems like wanna knock his tow car down. The car will speed very fast from the emergency lane and cut you in front tiba-tiba from your left. (Bear in mind slow cars moves in first lane) And those cars will like surround you, not letting you to tow to your shop... Saga's and Iswara's... So be aware of all these too...

Another source from my aunt also states that they purposely knock your car and they will bring you to their workshop and become kambing korban... They are willing to do anything just to "kill" your purse.

Well, its an expensive lesson... That's all...

Holiday Tips: To the south beware...

Holiday season is here... And guess what? Some sindicate is taking advantage of us...

Those who using PLUS Highway to the south... Beware at the road between Senawang and Seremban... (Not cause of frequent jam lar)...

Try slow down at this two area when at North-South Highway... Any breakdown at this point please call and wait for PLUS RONDA or respective insurance tow truck. Don't believe in any other party (s) who claimed that they are going to repair your car at cheap prices...

In conclusion...
Don't try to stop beside the road between this area...
Be informed that some SAGA will try and crash your car and lead you to their workshop...
Just don't let them TOW your car or you'll be in deep trouble...

So lets find some recent events to talk about...

Ok... Lets have some robotics session here then...

This is something that we have been preparing a whole year, something that carries the school fame, yet some people may call it... "Robotics? Cool!" if not "Robotics again?" or "Robotics? Boring lar..." Lols... Come on... Robots are all around us! It's not about always seeing me ponteng class = robotics... I'm always busy k? Jkjk... Prefects are busier then me of course... When collecting jogathon cards that time...

Bio Trip

So here comes the second day! I did not sleep well the whole night actually as I was like flipping over, then floor so hard, kept awoke a few times. 7 a.m. came then. We woke up and have a morning walk... Santiya and Thulashini joined... Not that far... Just like as big round as dewan, Block A, Block C like that. The birds are like so much! (Yes, much, not many k?) They were stopping on the roof of the shoplot. I was feeling like walking in middle of road, cause it will be like red carpet le, birds 2 baris hormat you ar. Upon reaching hotel, the van transporter came... So early! He saw us and just ask few words lo (If you wanted to know what he said or asked, ask the 2 girls then, he spoke to them in Tamil. Lol!) We got to the hotel and then wash up for our exciting Sunway Lagoon!

After all these, we went and check out of course... They were like only have one printer, and some more the slow and noisy one (the 25 or 36 pins that type that is able to print those receipt). One of the customer checked out about 5 rooms together... We waited at there don't know for how long... 15 minutes gua, haha! It took that long, my friends all already like placing their luggage in van (for temporary purpose). So we checked out and got back the dumb RM 20. Haiz...

We then proceed to the van and place our bags in the van. Alex brought us for a breakfast (Not in the schedule, haha!) We went there, linked up about 9 tables i think, forming a straight line in the restaurant to fit us. Haha, you can imagine is like longer then a class from its front to the back! I suggested that it looks like we're having a meeting, and i don't know how are we going to hear the others from another end! Ordered piece of roti canai and milo loh (As I know that it's going to be in Monash account, lol!) We talked and ate... (I am super noisy for at whole journey, haha...) Next, " Take your bags and lets go!" said Alex. Yeah, we walked there, not by van (I don't think it can fit us) and we reached the main door of theme park.

There is an i don't know how to call that... Dancing gua, in front of the main entrance (To promote itself of course) Wei Sern wondered how much Sunway paid them, lol! We were splitted into groups and joined with some girls. So its 4 guys and 3 girls gua. For easy "naming", I called myself "Justin". Haha! We then have some bag checks. Even mineral water is not allowed. So you can see the scene where people drinking 500 ml of mineral water down their throat at once. (Then I realised I left my mineral water at hotel, lol...) Some people are even more honest that they took the whole mineral bottle out in front of them, haiz. If it was me, I woudn't have do that till they found my bottle hidden deep beneath my clothes. We went in then. And that person who tear our ticket is like, teared the whole sticky part of my ticket, I somemore gotta use my own "labels" (Stickers la) to hold it, if not it'll just drop. So rush for what? Got problems ar? Haiz.

Proceeded to the "aeroplane", Nah, only small kids ride first la, just ate mar. Press button go up and down that type. Lol. We have really hard time controlling it, eventhough its just a button we are like... Why it won't go down? Why didn't press also like that one? Lol. Worse then kids. Then the "shoe". The one that turns around in a circle in a rail. That was, unexpectedly, fast! The round before that is slower, and our turn it was fast. (I think they saw all of us are adults, so they shift the speed faster) It was only us who sat. Not to forget that we're the first batch that comes in! We changed and went to some like, Niagara flume ride gua. They claimed is a wet game, I thought it was semi wet type.

So we went in. The two forgotten what name (Sorry!) decided to also join us after seeing us going in "willingly", lol. It leads to a super dark cave and went down at there! It was my first time of course, it went really wet and madness. I was at front (Since they acted as if so coward, I don't know why). Mark hit his nose on my back and got some minor bleedings then, it recovered fast, if not I need to be on duty again. (Wei Sern will do it actually, lol!)

Now is the boat ride! Let's see... Ok... Now 6 of us were going up to that dumb big "float" wei, they asked us to split to 3 to 4 per boat. But when we requested "6", they're like checking everything. They stepped on the "tyre", walked on it, and even ask some "high rank" technician to come out and check, (But i don't think he even looked at it) it was proved ok then. Cap "LULUS". Lol! Then I realised all the boats are waiting down there already. Before that it came out one by one, now all 3 are stucked at down there also. We caused a mess! And a long queue too! (But it's funny seeing people complaining, eventhough they're talking bout us, Haha..) We then went "on track". Wei Sern, Mark, those 2 person and me don't mind getting wet anymore, lol... But those didn't sit the flume ride were really terrified with... Water la... Haha. Went through 2 waterfalls which really make people "that" wet. Then, jessica and Mrs Tan already wet! (Very greteful that they didn't blame me for saying that it's "semi-wet" again, like conmen only, lol...) We got up and saw other groups, we were lucky as they need to get a long queue to get to play that, too bad... They asked me whether is that wet, I just say: "No woh, like normal only la, splash bit of water sure got one..." They believed and went in! I say: "Then you take care!"

We went all big round again to mine train. Some sort like roller coater. I asked them to shout... I sat before one ride and genting and all like so quiet! The Euro express if not mistaken. Whole train is so quiet all the way = Boring... My friends agreed then, it then went off and pulling us up, while I was explaining physics, I talked about law of physics for nearly all the way, from flume ride to the kiddy "aeroplane", from the anti-gravity thingy till this! I think Sern also got tired dy la, do you? Haha!) "How if the motor suddenly stop when pulling us up?" "Heard the klak klak klak thingy? The lock-and-key hypothesis will prevent us from falling off... It's a one way reverter." Ok, I know I mixed up physics and bio... What a failure... Haiz... Before I even explained finish, we're at the top and... "Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa...." I know you get what I mean and just "Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa...." again all the way up and down and up and... (Tired of typing up and down dy k? Lol!) Sern's specs nearly fly off, before he can adjust it it already went down, all were afraid of even pulling the hands off the bar! After ride, he learned a thing from Jessica... When specs wanna fly off, just push your head to your partner's shoulder... Then I was imagining all the way Sern is nodding... On my shoulders? If a girl did that then I can still consider... Hehe... So sweet! Joking lar... Ok... Joel, I know what you will write in my chatbox...

We got off and get to the Pirate ship and "cups" that part. Before that passed by a place for those cubs. Looks like they just imported another 2 young sweet one's. And we headed to the big cage... The tiger was like coming down so near to the cage... And thanks to my phone camera focusing option, I got the picture of the... Legs... Apale, dunno how to stand still le. Haha. Sat the pirate ship. It's so little people! Mark, that 2 person and me sat the pirate ship, while letting Sern "pak toh" with his Jessica and Mrs Tan. Cough... Only Jessica. Hehe. Ok... I will filter out the rest before he and Jes gets to me... That's what Mark idea... I just "quoted" k? I didn't comment anything, k? Lol. They said once Jes went into the cup they just start spinning like mad... Eventhough its not started... Haha. While they're having their fun lovin RPM there... There's another pirate ship at the side, spinning 360... I thought it was just mostly 90 swing, but it went up, 180, 250, 340, 360! I was like... hanging in the air and just shout like mad people le... Mark seems so quiet... He was just at my side. Againsing the 10m/s/s is that difficult. Some how you can feel the stress at your back and your front... But I didn't change my skin colour like the fish k? Lol. Done, proceeded to Tomohawk... The 2 persons plans to sit and they changed their mind on second thought. Cause we were still fear of the pirate ship just now... Lols...

Got up to the pedestrian suspension bridge... Took a picture of us... Haha. Thanks to that person... Starting from the middle of the bridge which has "holes" for you to look down, I so smart le, suggested 100M sprint somemore... So Mark and me left them and sprinted all over to the end... You can imagine how shaky it is... Some more gotta stand those grill that enables you to see down 427m... Haha... Gila... So we waited for them while we watch the "firefox", thats what I said, "flying fox". Went down to extreme park then.

Not much there, except that we need to went down few flights of stairs... Just wish I can just hop down from top floor. Mrs Tan, Mark, Sern and me sat aside then, cause entering extreme park needs some cost... Mark and me... Dry of money dy, still wanna play meh? Lol. So the 2 person with jessica went in. It took that long. We were that dry of money, dry of water, and dry of food! We went before they came out as we already waited for kinda long, 15 minutes? We walked first then, as Mrs Tan smsed Jessica about waiting at food court. But we know she wont pick up the phone and read, they were full helmet and "driving". Hope they pass the driving test duh. Lol. Mark slammed his phone to the floor... No patience... (He claim it was accidental, but I didn't caught a look at it...) Minor scratches only... Haha. When we wanted to really went off they came back... Apale... They say they nearly fell off when jungle trek... Then we walked for the lunch...

So we arrived at the food court... And claimed our RM 15 food box. RM 15 le! The mineral water itself was RM 3!! The food box is like juz some nasi briyani, I think, with some curry chicken and mixed vege... That's RM 15? I think it only cost less then RM 5 gua. So luckily its under Monash accounts again, if not i'm not going to eat... Haha. Others were there too, I guess all already hungry. Saw Gerealdine and santiya that group. We "accelereted" and... Let's go to wet park! I was half dead... No clothes to change, not even shorts... Lol. Mark and me just went in like that. Haha, while others get to change at least into shorts.

We went into the don't know what river first... Sern, the lucky one, kena push inside first lo... Haha... Then we just go one round. Trying to sink others down at every possible attempt... Haha. We even tried to have sprinting in water la... Lol... (Next day leg pain ar, haha...) We combined groups, my group, santiya's group and Geraldine's. Mark was busy teaching santiya how to swim... Looks rather difficult... I tried to swim... But my pants... difficult la... Cannot even paddle properly with that dumb and super low pants, somemore my specs are on with me la. How to swim? Hehe... It was really really wild... It's like others are looking us. Splashing, playing, sinking, a lot la. But very fun lo. Until when i'm going to get up again, I can saw someone blowing whistle... Maybe towards me gua, I didn't look at her of course, she's at my back, wanna halau me out meh? I just walked out as we gotta move on to "small" wave pool. I actually had lost track of them, only me and Mrs Tan were there. I searched all over the place again. I went to "small" wave pool, then was searching for them with my eyes, I tak larat to run dy la. I also saw bunch of people around me, looks like waiting for something, I stood at there looking and... What the! The water just poured down like what... I don't know there's a big pot up there filling water and just splashed down. I was wholly wet then. Scary la, my specs nearly flew off. At first I thought the lifeguard up there is pressing some button to kenakan me... I saw him doing something ma... I'm not in swim wear k? Lol. It was a dumb big surprise lo.

I proceeded to "big" wave pool, Then I found Jessica and Thulashini, they just now went for some water activities ma, they have shorts... Well, they were really wet... Sama as me actually. Haha! Then I found Sern they all, Sern's that group are suppose to find them also la... They still enjoying at small wave pool, haiz... So we met together and... Raining... Haiz... Weather really don't permit us le... Went up and meet up at foodcourt there lo. I of course, checked my belongings, my handphone, still nicely wrapped in my dry shirt, Lols! While Jessica applied some sumblock as it doesn't seems effective anymore. 5 mins later... Hehe... The Sun say ok dy, so we also ok lo... We straight proceeded to "small" wave pool. We have water "dancing" there... We lied down, relax our body, hold hands, and just let the wave come by... Fun la! Then we went to one of deepest part of water... (Not really a problem to me... I am tall k? Perasan, lol...) But still, dangerous la... it was about 2.15 dy. At 3.45 we need to gather and leave at 4, so we proceeded to "big" wave pool.

Did nothing much there... Just sat in water and chat... Getting to know new friends is very interesting too! Somemore in water... Haha. Mrs Tan said: "I probably won't remember you all la, maybe I can just remember some people who always splash water towards me at Sunway Lagoon...". SWT! I'm splasing water to her that time k? Lols... Mark teached a new way of "splashing" water, while I have my hand "water gun" on... Sern's then have some penyu swim... Water is so shallow... and he can swim just like that... Don't ask me how... Proceeded to the water slide... Slided down like what... Some kena kicked at face... I nearly kena also... Sern's then had his specs lost and... of course, we lancarkan search and rescue team, consist of more then 10 people seraching for a specs... Haha. less then 20 sec dy found... Effective le... We have water "jogeting" back then. We danced following the music la. So our steps are like... Synchronized... Probably if you prepare for MAC, I think the teacher in charge will straight away say ok and no need practice anymore... Lol. I also suggested that, let's just prepare a camera in front, get the music on... And, we are ready for mv shot! Haha...

So we went to changing room, and get ourselves changed. I changed back my dry clothes, while pants... Erm... Try to twist and dry it... But its difficult... Mark managed to dry his Monash clothes and change back, but he has the same problem as me... How about pants? He's going back... While i'm still going for Sunway Pyramid le!! No choice, just let it be wet lor... Haha. Sern got change into his full dry clothes... So syok!! We then went back to the foodcourt and discussed about going to Sunway Pyramid. Sern's and my parents are ok, so just go lo... The group consists of Sern, Mrs Tan, Jessica, me, another two forgotten their names again... Haiz... Go for cinema lo... Ticket for 4.45 all sold... Haiz... Booked 5.45 then... We headed for KFC...

On the way... Found one 6 years old kid crying wor... So we very kind one, go and help lor... Lost mom and bro only ma. The girl go and ask like... Where's your parents? Then the kid bla bla bla a lot... Whats your parents name? Bla Bla Bla (Don't expect me to disclose that much information) And the girl went off topic... The most important thing is his name! Well, since I can't really convince people one, only can tell her to ask about his name... We took off to the information counter... Those receptionist were so untrained... Pujuk a small boy also like... Wanna watch batman? Apale... You come in then your parents will come ok? Don't stand outside there, later bad people will catch you... Swt... Meaning we are bad people also la, lol! No need so direct one ma... It took so long for us and them to pujuk... They're like wearing tuxedo and tie... Look up also scare dy la if i'm that boy... But at least the guy is smart, came out and sambut him... Then... Success! (I wonder how long will it takes if the guy didn't come out). We then chaoz lor as we are kinda rushing for time dy... Head straight to KFC... But along the way there's no announcement being made... Dunno what happened... But then... Who cares k? Lol... Is actually "no time to care". The show is on for another 35 mins, we are not going to wait there until his parents come right?

Ordered myself a set of don't know what X-meal lo... Haiya, the cheapest one there... Lol! Ate and discussed about schools and curriculum lots... Found that all of them are prefects man!! Haiz... For sure all very smart and tegas one lor. Lol, nope, they're not when its outside the school... But smartness still there la... A1 for all subs one wor, not smart kah? And another thing is I found that girls don't really like to eat cucumber and tomato lo, although good for their skin... Just don't kow why.... Well, the statistics I collected from my past experience and outings k? (Cause they always offered guys these...) So my hypothesis suppose to be acceptable right? Comment in my chatbox lo... I saw a news about KFC chicken before... Bad news actually... I think you all know dy right? Sern react "vigorously" when I told him about it... Lol... Not pottasium la...

Erm... Went to movie directly... Cause we had passed time. Missed about 2 minutes of Narnia gua... Caused I watched it again on another outing, so I know how long and how much I had missed. Basicly the movie was really the "drying time" for my pants... Cause when I came out pants dy dry la... Hope they didn't salah anggap what happened in the 2 hours and 30 minutes show le... The movie was... Starting is boring enough to make me sleep. The first Narnia had made Sern slept before... But I was really looking forward towards this production... So I managed to kept my eyes open... Their effects can be better... Well, I managed to seek some news over here...

Disney errs on "Prince Caspian" release date Thursday May 29 10:01 AM ET

Walt Disney Co CEO Robert Iger said Wednesday that "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" is underperforming at the box office because of competition from "Iron Man" and "Indiana Jones."
Since its May 16 release, the "Narnia" sequel has earned $99.6 million in North America, according to Box Office Mojo. Its 2005 predecessor, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," had earned $122.7 million in the same period. It went on to make date $291.7 million.
Disney originally had "Caspian" set for last Christmas, but delayed it in deference to "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep," a fantasy vying for the same audience.
The studio might also have been taking into account the feelings of Walden Media, its production partner on "Narnia" and the production company behind "Water Horse." That film, distributed by Sony, earned just $40 million domestically.
Iger, speaking at the Bernstein Strategic Decisions Conference in New York, said "Prince Caspian" is a better movie than the first installment but because it was released between a couple of the year's biggest hits, audiences are overlooking it.
"Prince Caspian" was released less than two weeks after "Iron Man" and just six days before "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Both those pictures are headed into the $300 million area.
Iger lamented the "very delicate, very fragile marketplace" for movies in general, given that "there's just too much out there." As of now, the next movie in the "Narnia" series is set for release May 7, 2010.

And another thing that I found out is GSC's is a lot better then TGV lor. I heard from my friends before, I also felt that, but another kinda shocking one is the sound system, GSC sounds a lot better. Maybe both 21 speakers has mere differences, or the settings are older or different... At TGV the contrast are generally higher but brightness somehow lower, while GSC has contrast bit lower and brightness higher. Well, that's for my eyes... I can even feel the vibration in GSC, maybe they on it kinda loud...

Yeap, long time didn't update... Busy and tired and... Lazy... Holiday passes like nothing man... Now already Fri... I "Fried" my holiday with nothing at all... I was planning to study le... But I know, its a holiday... Haha. Anyways, for some people that didn't saw me in Wednesday before holidays... I was in robotics competition. First Lego League ma... Well, I was sick enough but also gotta go le. (MC not accepted... Haha) I somemore gotta talk for presentation (although no need to memorise lines like they did).

That Wednesday... Early morning reached school (I reached really early k?) and i just sat on my table... Fast asleep... My bag was ready, with those presentation hard disk and info's. Actually I need to memorize the script too, cause we were acting while I acted as the "sort-like" middle person. But mine can just crap mar, so didn't memorize lor. On Tues I didn't study at all lar, cause afternoon came back from school rushed to an advertising company near Damansara Indah... Some person created a logo for us... Team Synergy... and with that logo we printed stickers, fans, bags from it to be used for presentation. (Logo copyrighted yea... If I want to sell the logo need 50 000 U.S. Dollar, no play-play, lol). The office is like only 3 person le... But the computers pro lor... All Mac one... And with help of Adobe Illustrator, we got our logo done! Imagine the cost of printing all these rubbish (if not used), shouldn't be that expensive right? But just a 4 copies print for the paper bags, a copy for the fan, and 2 sheets of stickers... It's RM50! RM50 for all these? Worth or not wor... Price discounted somemore... If not more expensive lar... Its so wasting... But thats not the end... We gotta fold the paper bags ourselves! The person showed one time to us... (Took the paper, next fold, then outline, then turn around, then outline, then cut, then double-side tape, then outline....Then join!) The process for him took about 10 minutes. Then he said... "Done!" We just kept staring what he does and don't know what he's been doing for past 10 mins... Lol... Cause he's very cekap and can do that fast... (And sweat all over his forehead although air conditioned, XD) I was like saying "Can you repeat the process again?" Haha. Then we started to do lor, with the persons supervising... We did everything, and he was correcting us a lot... I cough like mad when doing it, I was still sick mar... And lost voice somemore le... Back to work... Then we outlined all and cut those parts that need to be cut. We double-side taped on some required parts and guess what... WRONG!! Waliao... We spent bout 45 mins doin it lar... And now taped wrongly... But luckily still can be saved... And we did it! We finished! (Nearly cut my fingers with those blades, lol) If you are curious for why I am using "we", we means Najmuddin (team member la) and me lor... I stared at it... Felt like all my hard work tomorrow gotta give to people one le, not mine also... But gotta be nice lar... If not my presentation won't work that well...

Ok... Finished the bag thingy... So now need to find palm leaves...Naj is acting as biofuel... So we need palm leaves to "decorate" him... Haha. Went to my house and cut some Pinang leaves, lol... But it looks quite the same la... Impossible to travel back to my mom's hometown, Muar to get a kelapa sawit leaves meh? Then we went to one of the teammates house... To practice the robot with the track... We did till bout 12 am and went back...

The next day... Wed... For DJ F4 students... You are having your last exam la... Your Amoeba and the modules graph... Remember? When I leaving the class to go for the competition... Chee Ming was like... "That shirt sucks la...". I was wearing the uniform for robotics mar... It isnt't that bad la, at least better then wearing school uniform... Cause those schools ar, all got own robotic club T-shirt one le... Somemore like super colourful and striking one... Our shirt compare to theirs ar... It's nothing man!! We planned to have our own club t-shirt before... But we have a lot of problems with those "top people"... They think that its better not to have a club t-shirt if we want them to spend some money on the shirt. So we got the shirt that is sponsored... At least we have something to "appear" on the competition so DJ won't "Xia Sui" in front of a national and world-recognised competition... See... How good are we le... jkjk... lol.

7.10am... Bertolak ke Pusat Sains Negara... (At the time you all should be studying hard for bio), lol... Reached there and waited for another group of team members... Then we walked in together... As a team... Lol... (Start imagining some group of people walking into a door like gangster with hot music... Haha... Lame...) After breakfast

Update after a loooong time...

No time to update le... Since some people had asking me to update... haiz... Lol... Recap of January's life...

Form 4 is just so busy and stressful.. Projects, homeworks, cocurriculums, tuitions... SO much things went around... And making new friends! That's quite dumb, for me at first, but it's very fun now... Nah... don't know what to say dy...

Went through some pictures that i had taken... Which is supposed to be fitted into my post, but i did not update them... So I place them in...

Saw the clown fish "hanging" over there? Lol... Actually, they (Clown and tiger fish) had been separated since long ago, cause they actually bite others, and some amount of them died... So gotta seperate them for good... The clown fish had been sleeping in "leaning" position (leaned towards the corner) and "lying" position (the whole fish went upside down... Like how human sleeps! And most importantly is it isn't dead!). Maybe he got some idea from somewhere... Now he started to sleep in "half-hanging in the air" position. At first I thought he or his fins was stucked between the divider and i tapped the aquarium, he moved and after i left, he went back to sleep in this position again... My father called him "the launching rocket".

I went "niu ze dui" and they had started to sell those new year thingies... I forgot which day I went there. It was like Petaling street, just air conditioned and more modernized design... The ceiling were lit by powerful multi coloured LED (Which I expect to die out within few months as their life range is short)... And the main road going into there were lit by lighted trees (which also lit by LED) My family were targetting some "pussy willow"... We had been thinking to buy it, don't ask me why... It's the first year they bought this some kind of dry stick with some coloured cottons on it... Lol...

PMR Results...

Ok... Things tipped of when news announced 27th will be the date of... Hell? Well... PMR results... Everything seems normal, cause some are still in outstation, some in holiday mooed, some even in overseas! Until the PMR results eve, yup, started receiving loads of smsses about friends worrying about their results, (Even those top students). I was like not worrying at all, cause I already expect NO A for chinese. So i just don't care. I'm aiming straight but it won't reach dy. I saw their messages (Those messages really get me worried about my results). What you expect... Haiz... Cause if they worried i'll be more worried. But still, not much influence. Haha. Slept at 5 am. (My original plan was gotta accompany a friend, you know, those type of "result phobia" ones, cause they just can't sleep (And I normally sleep late)...

Next day, awakened by a phone ring... It was about 10.15 And you know what? Some already reached there! I was like... what the..? The results will be announced by 11am, and the're just so early! I don't know why, I not feeling like getting my results. Watched TV till 10.30 then played a game of Red Alert (Easy enemy with superweapons on only la), then we shoot off. The area was congested like... Don't worry, my father went for double parking, (Cause others already double parked and arranged till like... so straight! Haha.. If MBPJ come and write ar saman, they will earn big money...) I actually went in first... I headed straight to hall and it's really really a mess! So many people's around and so noisy and.... bla... bla... bla... I saw my classmates (Thanks to Sathya, eventually I saw Sathya first, he is tall enough to let me see between heads, haha...) So I headed straight there, then there comes lin... "Everyone took dy... You got straight la...", I was like... "What?". (At first I thought she was too happy until mad dy, jumping here and there haha... Cause she got over her BM...) Well, still got quite a lot of people not yet take their results, managed to squeze through them... Then one by one, saw them laughed, screamed (I don't know normal mic can take their extreme-high frequency or not), hugged, cheered... Nah, it just looks never ending... And those are more to girls ok? Cause most guys dy taken earlier. Lol... I was asking nearly every guy that passed by and was like all got straight! And I am the one that still don't know my result... (But aother few people did noted me that I got straight... zzz...) Then it was my turn, teacher just flipped through the papers and found my name... Well... Teoh Jia Xian... That's my name... (And did she purposely cover the grades part?), she handle the piece of paper to me... I straight away look at the bottom of the paper... "A!"... Wah... the feeling was... "mixed feelings"... Happy, relieved, (A bit disappointed with my expectations, as I expect BCina bye bye..." Haha... After my father knew my results he's like going to pavillion... Then... I think he talked to the phone about half an hour I think... But certanly it was not about constructions... I wandered around with Sui Wu... Haha... Well, some cried, some smile, some hug like... Some... Hold on... Some is queuing to buy exercise books at book store! Haha... Walau... Just took result then so fast prepare to go F 4 meh, don't scare me le... Went to the board section to see my sis next year class... Quite angry to see my sis in balau altough she got 5/7A's lo... Cause I got 7 last time and was in Jati!!! Haha... Then... Then nothing dy la... Go back la... Then sms like... Credit from RM15+ cut till left RM5. Haha...

Hmm, actually this is just parts of life.... Like what one of my friend said to me: "Straight A's or not we still need to continue our life..." If not mistaken. Yup... Its a point, (low or high doesn't matter) of life. Its not a point that makes you stops, nor a point that makes you end your life (Like a UPSR girl did so). Just take this point as reference, to advance forward. And, media did emphasis much on great and highly graded student, but remember, the student getting "E" for this year is still increasing... They do need our help too... As a friend thats caring, we are needed to play our role in society too... (What am I talking bout? Lol...)

Ok... Where should I start... Toaster huh? Have some picture of it first... Its a small one, very small one... Cornell CTO-2 oven.

So what's my aim? The main thing that does not function is the heater... Cause I actually done the testing and the light lit up for every wire except after passing through the heating element. And thus shows the only reason for this seldom used oven to slip in spoiled condition.
Heating element is inside some parallel holed metal casing. Its located above and below the tray.

So... Opened some screws and finally found a Torx screw that is impossible to be removed by normal screwdrivers... Had no choice and guess what I did...
It's not easy to bend it ok, I took nearly 20 minutes just to bend the cover... As it is hooked to the housing (You can see something sticking out from the removed cover)... Sharp edges nearly cut my fingers...

Inside view... Green-Yellow wire to the housing to ground off... Brown wire to the timer and output to the temperature "controller" and using yellow wire towards the heating element. It's connected in series and the electric flow through the second element which is located below and then connected to the neutral wire...

The heating element seems nice with cover, but not without it... It's just a thin-twisted nichrome wire messing around...

So what I got from this oven is... The timer, which can hold function up to 15 min, a plug with fuse of course, and another free heating element, i don't know when i will use this again, but just keep it somewhere... Lol...
